I fell in love...

I fell in love with photographing women because the impact of their experience & transformation on their self-worth BLEW ME AWAY.

It all started around 4 ½ years ago when I was a studio & wedding photographer. I was unfulfilled and missing an emotional connection to photography & to my clients. Then one day I happened across a seminar on boudoir photography and loved the idea of specialising in photographing women & helping them become more body confident.

Trust me, I knew all about low self-esteem and disliking being photographed. I had spent years avoiding being in photos and was usually the one taking the pictures. I have so few photos of me & my children together – & that’s heart-breaking; all because I hated seeing how fat I looked in photos. Even as a photographer I didn’t have a professional headshot of me until a few years ago.

Then one day I was booked a by a woman who had had a really bad experience at a well-known makeover photography studio & the impact on her life was so great, and she was so thankful, that it moved me enormously.

This is what Sarah said: “When I had my shoot I had zero confidence and felt lost in my life. We had a chat about what I would like and you got it straight away! It's like you could see into my soul. My photos are now my prized possessions. You do amazing things to help woman feel good about themselves. You changed my life and I will always be grateful.”

I photographed my last wedding in 2016 and haven’t looked back.
